The Rotary District 3200 was formed
in 1991-92 as a multi-generation successor of District 89 (comprising of Afganistan, Burma, Ceylon and India) formed in 1937-38,
and has at present 142 Clubs and a membership strength of 4552 Rotarians.
The Clubs are spread over part of the southern
Indian states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The larger cities in our RI District are Coimbatore, Tirupur, Calicut and Cochin.
A
large majority of the Clubs have weekly tea meetings. Our RI District is well known for its involvement in the avenue of Community
Services.
Rtn PHF Pillai K S of Rotary Club of Coimbatore is the District Governor for 2005-06.
